Illustrator CS2

We have just taken the plunge and upgraded our vector artwork software to Adobe Illustrator CS2. Originally we have been working on CS1 and v10 but more and more clients are sending things through in CS2 and Adobe doesn’t allow you to open CS2 files in CS1. You can get around this by exporting to a legacy .ai or .eps file and we recommed to our clients that when sending artwork it is sent in v8 .eps as most of the print industry are not running the latest version of Adobe’s excellent, but expensive software.

We recommend you view our artwork guidelines for printing.

Cruel World

Cruel World
La Fraise, the French limited-edition t-shirt shop have more classic tee designs for sale. I couldn’t resist buying this tragic-comic one, printed on an American Apparel T. It is a dangerous site because once you start browsing you find your shopping basket growing! Indigo can supply American Apparel at competitive trade prices.

Everyone needs a track number 5

Julia Parker, one of the first employees of Indigo is often fond of making profound philosphical points. As summer comes upon us for another year I remember her passion for an upbeat album called Two Shoes by the Cat Empire, a Melbourne (AUS) based band, and her particular habit of raving about the fifth track. She said that everyone needed a track number 5 - a summer track that makes you jolly. I’m intrigued - what are peope’s track number 5’s? What should we be playing in the office this summer?

Recycled Promotional Merchandise

We have been helping Camden Council (London) with their request for recycled promotional merchandise. We are keen to be more green and introduced organic cotton clothing last summer. We can now offer things likes recyled mugs, pens, mousemats, etc. at competitive prices. Check out our mini-site at www.recycledproductsonline.co.uk and if there is anything that takes your fancy, just send an email/call and we can send you a sample or a physical catalogue.

Patrick Muirhead

Patrick Muirhead is a great client of ours. Who is this Patrick I can hear you ask? If your a Brit, you are bound to know him as an established voice of the BBC shipping forcast, a programme that has a great affection in the hearts of Radio 4 listeners.

Patrick has a gentleman’s clothing shop in Midhurst, West Sussex and Indigo supply some of his clothing (particulary Front Row and Slazenger apparel). We also sow-in his neck labels, of which he has a great close up photo on his site.
