Uniqlo phenomenon grows in Europe

Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo was eagerly welcomed by Parisians this week, with customers queueing in the rain to lap up products from the new store.

With the recession hurting luxury brands, Uniqlo is well placed in the fashion market and it’s profits may jump as much 23% as a result of the economic climate and new product development.

They’re a new name to me (sorry if that shows my lack of knowledge on some aspects of fashion!) but I generally like the designs on their website and the pricing’s not unreasonable.

I like the retro style stuff especially.
