Branded Workwear for Every Industry

Custom workwear is one of the most effective ways to build brand consistency across your team. From healthcare and hospitality to retail, facilities management, and construction offices, branded workwear tells clients and customers who your staff are — and reinforces your professionalism before a word is spoken.

At Indigo Clothing, we produce branded workwear for organisations of all sizes — from 20-person SMEs ordering their first staff kit to national businesses managing ongoing uniform programmes. We handle everything from garment selection and artwork preparation to decoration and delivery.

Sectors we work with

  • Healthcare & medical — embroidered polo shirts and tunics for clinics, dental practices, and care homes
  • Hospitality & catering — printed or embroidered polos and aprons for hotels, restaurants, and events
  • Retail & customer service — staff polo shirts and t-shirts with consistent logo placement across all sizes
  • Construction & trades — durable embroidered fleece and softshell jackets for site teams and project managers
  • Facilities & property management — branded uniforms that wear well through daily use

Personalised Workwear Decoration Methods

Personalised workwear can be decorated in several ways depending on your design, garment type, and order volume. We’ll recommend the right method when you request a quote.

Embroidery is the preferred decoration method for most workwear. Stitched logos are more durable than print — they hold their shape through repeated commercial washing and don’t fade or crack over time. Ideal for polo shirts, fleece jackets, caps, and any garment that needs to last a working lifetime.

Screen printing is the most cost-effective option for larger orders of 50+ pieces. Suited to bold, flat-colour logos on t-shirts and hoodies. Pantone-matched inks ensure brand colour consistency across a large run.

Transfer printing suits smaller workwear runs or garments where embroidery set-up isn’t cost-effective. Full-colour results with fast turnaround and no large minimum order requirement.

Embroidered Workwear

Embroidered workwear is the corporate standard for a reason. Stitched logos sit proud of the fabric, catch the light, and communicate quality — on a polo shirt pocket or a fleece chest panel, an embroidered logo looks professional in a way that print rarely matches.

We digitise your artwork at no extra cost and offer chest, sleeve, and back placement depending on your garment and branding requirements. Our embroidered workwear is produced to withstand industrial laundering — stitching stays intact through repeated wash cycles at commercial temperatures. Minimum order 20 pieces. Workwear Garments We Customise

We source workwear garments from leading wholesale brands and advise on the right blank for your application, budget, and wash requirements.

  • Polo shirts — the most common workwear garment. We stock Gildan, B&C, Fruit of the Loom, and Uneek options in piqué and performance fabrics across a wide colour range.
  • Fleece jackets — mid-layer warmth for outdoor and site-based teams. Full-zip and half-zip options from AWDis and Result.
  • Softshell jackets — water-resistant outer layer for construction, logistics, and events. Embroidered chest and sleeve placement.
  • T-shirts — screen-printed or embroidered for hospitality, retail, and events staff. Gildan 64000 and Continental for bulk workwear orders.
  • Hoodies & sweatshirts — zip or pullover styles for branded staff kits and casual-smart uniforms.
  • Aprons — embroidered or printed bib, waist and bistro aprons for hospitality, catering and retail teams.
  • Caps & headwear — embroidered caps and beanies to complete a workwear set.

Custom Aprons

Custom aprons are essential branded kit for hospitality, catering, retail and trade teams. A well-made apron with your logo looks professional behind a bar, in a kitchen, or on a market stall — and protects staff clothing through a busy shift.

We embroider or print your logo onto bib aprons, waist aprons and bistro styles in a range of colours and fabrics, from hard-wearing polycotton to heavier canvas for trade use. Embroidery gives a premium, durable finish that survives repeated commercial washing; print is ideal for larger, full-colour designs. Minimum order 20 aprons. Request a quote for branded aprons.

Custom Workwear FAQs

What is the minimum order for custom workwear?

Our minimum order is 20 pieces for embroidery and screen printing. For smaller orders or samples, DTG printing has no minimum. Price breaks apply at 50, 100, and 250+ units.

Is embroidery or printing better for workwear?

Embroidery is generally preferred for workwear because it’s more durable — stitched logos withstand repeated commercial washing without fading, cracking, or peeling. Printing is more cost-effective for large runs and works better for complex, multi-colour artwork. We’ll advise on the right method for your garment type and design when you contact us.

How long does custom workwear take?

Standard lead time is 7–10 working days from artwork approval. Express turnaround is available for urgent orders — call us on 0800 061 2207 to discuss your deadline.

Can I order mixed garment types in one workwear order?

Yes — we frequently fulfil mixed orders: polo shirts, fleece jackets, and t-shirts in a single production run with consistent logo placement. Each garment type may have a separate minimum of 20 pieces. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we’ll put together a quote covering all garment types.

Do you make custom aprons?

Yes — we customise bib, waist and bistro aprons with embroidered or printed logos for hospitality, catering and retail teams. Choose from polycotton and canvas fabrics in a range of colours. Minimum order is 20 aprons.
