Server of Honour

Indigo has a new server and if you want to know all the specs, then check out our website page. We needed to get this beast of a dedicated machine from our hosts Clook because our monthly traffic is up to 70,000 unique visitors and 3.5 million page views! It is traditional to name a new server (a bit like naming boats) so ours will be called ‘Ange’, after a girl called Angela Laycock, a Cambridge alumni who beat Prince William to the Sword of Honour at RMA Sandhurst (RMAS is one of Indigo’s clients) this year. A spirited achievement and on the same day our server went live, so ‘Ange‘ it is.

That seems apt. Ange was a friend of mine at Cambridge and she was a really lovely girl and incredibly hard working. She also loves the army and thoroughly deserves the Sword of Honour, and also the ’server of honour’ from Indigo-go…
