Hi, I’m Opal and I have just joined the Client Services Team at Indigo Clothing….Yey!
Like many other Aussies I have made the move to London to work & travel. I came over by myself, and yes, it was scary, and yes, I miss my family and friends, but I have met new friends, and I live in a great house share, which is like my new family, made up of French, Portuguese and Japanese.
I’ve had a lot of people asking me “Why would you leave Australia to come live here in London?”
Okay, so the whether is not always the best, the Tube is sometimes unreliable and it is a little expensive BUT I think London is an amazing city, so much history and so many different nationalities and now I have been here for 5 months I know why we all make the move, and you know what I know: I’ll be really sad when I have to leave.
Although it’s only my second day here at Indigo I feel very welcomed and know I’m going to have a whole lot of fun. I also look forward to working with all our great customers and suppliers.
