Well designed clothing websites

An article about the new look Joules website and how well they are doing was an interesting find and reinforces my view that clean design combined with lots of information is the way forwards to selling garments on the web.

There are very few well-designed websites that sell clothing. In fact if you come to think of it there are few well-designed e-commerce websites. John Lewis is an excellent example of a high street retailer whose website is extremely attractive and usable.

i agree that clean design and neccesary information is the way to go. i found this site called THE LIFE (http://www.experiencethelife.com) that does just that.

their designs are CRAZY! the marvin gaye shirt, the meat packing district (they’re based out of NYC), and their “i am the african dream” shirt.

    it’s definitely worth a look.

    Nice find!

Many t-shirt sites these days are heavily based on flash – I think it works well for small collections, Skwat, a Belgium company, is another good example I found yesterday.
