Today I am supporting Get Kids Going, by playing (landscaping or ‘turf moving’ as some would describe my game) in a charity golf tournament as part of ‘Team Indigo’. Joining me is James Long and Dickie ‘The Monk’ Heathcote, both of whom have done some hard hours in the Indigo office during the earlier stages of their careers before going off to join the big bad corporate world.
Get Kids Going is a campaign providing sport and mobility for disabled children. Julia Parker, Indigo’s first employee, is running the ING New York Marathon for them and if you would like to support their efforts, please visit her fundraising webpage. Indigo will also be holding a raffle for them at our forthcoming staff, friends and family party (sorry invite only) later in October. So far we have got some awesome prizes with Eleni getting hold of a new Arsenal FC shirt signed by all the Arsenal team and Tim offering to fly someone over London in his private plane, so the raffle tickets should be well worth the money.
