It’s staying lighter later in the evenings, and the temperatures are warming up. The progress of the vaccine rollout and latest Government announcement has enabled us to start making plans to really get life back on track this summer.

YES to dinner and drinks with friends, family gatherings, holidays and the resurgence of the festival season!

As a business are you ready for the summer season?

This summer is the time we can (hopefully) get our lives back on track, with the resurgence of festivals and other social gatherings. This year especially, we believe festivals will be a great platform for businesses to get their brand out there and provides a great chance for your brand to directly connect with your target audience.

Here at Indigo we have some top tips on how to make your business stand out this summer season.

Social media visibility

Big brands are known for creating VIP access areas at festivals and collaborating with the event organisers on big sponsorship deals. But any size business can still get a slice of the action. As a business if you have a social media presence and are attending a festival we suggest you shout about it on your social channels.

It’s a great way to show your followers what you’re up to at the festival and use the festival hashtag so that people attending can see what’s going on?

Also merchandise can be key – branded items in a few festival goers social posts can go a long way to improving organic visibility.

Promotional clothing

If you have staff working at a festival make sure they’re kitted out in branded workwear – tee’s, hoodies, aprons, rain macs (preparation for British summertime!), hats and more. The bolder the better. This way customers will recognise your business and staff from the outset.

Festivals can also be a good opportunity to sell merch. Music merchandise is big business. We’ve seen a big rise in popularity for slogan clothing in the last few years.

Freebies

Festivals are a great way to engage with audiences – samples, freebies and take-home items can work a treat to land a great impressions and drive brand awareness.

Clients we’ve supported

An example where we have supported a brands festival efforts was the supply of all the merchandise and freebies for Bumble’s stand at V-Fest. This included fans, inflatables, beach balls, t-shirts for staff and a goodie bag of freebies.

We have also worked with NYC Downlow Festival on staff tee-shirts.

If your business is planning to attend any festivals this summer, work with Indigo to ensure your brand standouts. To find out more call us on 0800 061 2207 or request an online quote to see how we can support your requirements.
